Aquafalls Aquarium project officially cancelled

Buffalo, New York - In Niagara Falls, almost six years after the announcement to bring the $35 million Aquafalls Aquarium project to the Cataract City, the project is now officially dead and almost buried.
This week, crews are filling up the huge hole where Aquafalls was to be built.Frank Parlato, the current developer, is hoping to transform the pile of dirt into a green space and a skating rink in the winter time.
He also has plans for restaurants, retail space, and a welcome center for the adjacent Aquafalls building.
