Frank Parlato Jr. says he purchased six used slot machines from a Las Vegas company and plans to have them up and running in September.
Parlato feels his business should have the same rights as the Seneca Nation which runs the Seneca Niagara Casino just down the street. He says there's no reason New York State business owners shouldn't receive the same tax breaks as well as gaming licenses.
Parlato's hoping by installing slot machines, it will jumpstart a discussion about state business owners having the same rights as the Seneca Nation.
According to the New York State Gaming Authority, gaming is only allowed on sovereign land.
